This brand is a culmination of passion and creativity fueled by an artists’ desire to provide a range of products that are not only for pro-artists but also an everyday user.
As a company we are devoted to creating a sense of community with a primary focus on inclusivity and diversity to inspire and empower one and all.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
KD BEAUTY is founded by an artist with an entrepreneurial drive fuelled by passion. She has a strong academic background in engineering and healthcare management, however through the years her innate passion for makeup drove her to pursue artistry.
As a bridal makeup artist, she always encountered clients’ confused demeanour when it came to daily beauty routines and their endless questions about which products to use or what to buy. This led her to creating KD BEAUTY, a brand for all.
NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
As a young girl, I always struggled with confidence because of my dusky skin tone. I would always find myself looking through magazines and wondering and hoping that some-day I could look like them. At the age of 18, I started University in the US, that’s where I was exposed to so much more than I could imagine. This is where my love story with makeup started. My closest friend at the time introduced me to this wide range of products that were so easily available and accessible. I watched YouTube videos for hours every day and finally developed a great beauty routine, which only got better each time. It made me feel confident and empowered in a way I’ve never felt before.
Over the years, I perfected the art and decided to enter the industry by starting an Instagram handle – BEAUTYGRAMBYKD. It was definitely a struggle in the beginning, but over time, I felt so comfortable with it that I decided to pursue bridal artistry and the rest is history. I couldn’t be happier in doing what I love to do every single day and this brand is created for that exact same reason. I want to give you all the tools and products that are near and dear to my personal journey in feeling so confident every single day. When you are feeling low, I want my products to make you instantly feel good with every use. I want to make people feel like they too can look as good as any other model or actor on screen every single day of their lives, not only their wedding day.
